My journey in Texas Family Law began immediately after graduating from South Texas College of Law in 2011. From my earliest days in the field, I dedicated myself to understanding the complexities of family law. At my first firm, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in cases involving intricate marital property issues and contentious child custody disputes. I honed my skills in the discovery process, drafting essential legal documents, and attending mediations, laying a solid foundation for my career. Over the next nine years, I worked at two prestigious law firms, where I continued to navigate high-stakes family law cases, serving as second chair in jury trials, binding arbitrations, and contested hearings. Eventually, I began taking the lead as first chair in trials, temporary order hearings, mediations, and depositions.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for cases involving the characterization and division of marital property, as well as matters intersecting family law and contract law. I find immense satisfaction in working closely with clients to meticulously investigate their assets and liabilities, prepare comprehensive inventories, and substantiate separate property claims to the highest evidentiary standard. Beyond the technical aspects, I cherish building personal relationships with my clients and guiding them toward the outcomes they deserve, always with compassion and diligence.

In 2024, I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter by joining the esteemed team at AWA Law Firm as a Partner. This move marks an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional client service alongside a group of professionals who share my commitment to excellence in family law. As a native Houstonian, a seventh-generation Texan, and a second-generation Harris County family law attorney, I bring deep roots and an unwavering commitment to serving my community. Outside of work, I am a proud husband to an amazing woman and father to three wonderful sons. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cooking, golfing, traveling, and diving into spirited conversations about the Star Wars, Marvel, and DC universes.
